*Going through some old boxes as she packs the last of the Halloween decorations away, a strong laugh comes out at the sight of Dare's glow worm. He took it everywhere he went.
One particular fall evening he wanted Micah to come over and play but Elise had that little tyrant on lockdown for the night. Something to do with Tegan and fit throwing.
So, in her special way to soothe him, she knelt down next to the brown eyed boy of 4 and asked* Baby, would you like to play hide and seek with your momma?
*Smiling when his head shook up and down she turned and started counting* .....1...2....3....4....5...ready or not hear I come! *After walking through most of the quarter she paused to use her ability and steadied her pace, stepping softly through the hall and coming around the corner she quietly laughed to herself.
Dare was hiding in the shower stall of their bathroom, holding his worm so tight the glow gave him away, Whipping the lights on her voice loud as she said* BOOO *had him jumping sky high*........
After the memory faded she shed a single happy tear, knowing how blessed she has been to have that boy in her life.
